CDs have become my medium of choice for music collection. I always found the vinyl hobby to be quite an expensive one, not only because the medium itself is more expensive, but also because having the "right" hardware comes at a prohibitive cost. CDs are often cheaper and easier to find, can be ripped in lossless digital quality and can be played by any old machine.
